1997, 94 minutes, Rated PG
Charlie Tuttle (Jeff Daniels - "Dumb And Dumber") is an over-worked, stressed-out big city attorney, sent to a small desert town a few days before his wedding to defend a petty con artist (Rip Torn - "Dodgeball"). He arrives to find his best friend Richard (Michael Richards - 'Kramer' from TV's Seinfeld) an out-of-work actor, planning a bucks party that blows his mind - literally. The next morning, trying to do the hung-over groom-to-be a favour, Richard pretends he's Charlie and goes to trial, giving the performance of his career while turning the courtroom upside down.
Identites are switched, witnesses are badgered and judges are over-ruled in the most outrageous trial of the century, no objections!
