The stars of the MTV's "Yo MTV Raps", Doctor Dre and Ed Lover, make their hilarious movie debut in this comedy murder mystery directed by Ted Demme ("Blow") about two misfit undercover cops.
Dre and Ed are two incompetent barbers who are looking for a new line of work. Before you can say Vanilla Ice they're enrolled in the New York Police Academy training to be one of the city's finest. When their former boss and friend is murdered the two hip-hop cops get right on the case and start an investigation.
Combing the 'hood for clues they manage to turn up every rap group in music before they find their chief suspect - an evil developer buying up all the property in Harlem because he believes the neighbourhood is sitting on millions of dollars worth of oil!
Who's The Man? is a Dyno-mite musical action comedy with a platinum soundtrack of hip-hop and rap's finest including Jodeci, Mary J. Blige, Run DMC, Heavy D, Kriss Kross, Queen Latifah, Ice-T, Cypress Hill and House Of Pain.
