When you open yourself up to enigmas, you begin to see the world differently.

Sara (Carly Pope - Popular) is an introverted philosophy student with a few skeletons in her closet. Obsessed with discovering the meaning of life, be it through her lectures or... something darker.

She spends her free time out with Vern (Adrian Paul - Highlander), a streetwise comic-book storeowner who shares her fascination with riddles.

Someone is leaving Sara and Vern riddles to solve in dark and forgotten corners. The answers lead them into a world of catastrophe and random acts of violence. Sara and Vern discover that within this game lies, not only the logic to the psychotic mind of Emily Gray (Rena Owen), but the possible answer to life itself.
