Jean and Lionel are now married and continue to enjoy the happiness that has come from sharing their lives together after a long courtship.
As the only male in the house, Lionel's protective instincts are exposed when he jumps to the defence of Sandy who believes she's being stalked. Lionel's pride is soon dented and his failure to open a jar of pickled onions does nothing to boost his confidence.
Sometimes the solutions can cause just as much trouble as the problems - a surprise trip to Barbados defies Lionel's best-laid plans and a quiet weekend in the country ends in chaos. There are more exciting developments in Lionel's career - and he takes up model boat building!
