Ria Parkinson has been happily married for years. Her husband Ben is a dull but successful dentist whose hobby is collecting butterflies, and they live with their two teenage sons in a comfortable surburban home. Though Ria has never wanted more out of life, recently she has begun to think that life is passing her by.

One day she meets a handsome and wealthy businessman, Leonard - while not exactly a knight in shining armour, Ria still daydreams of being swept off her feet by him. They meet in secret - and it's just the excitement she's been looking for! Depsite the fact that their relationship is purely platonic, Ria feels pangs of guilt.

This bittersweet comedy about lost opportunites and the sudden realisation that time is running out is still fresh and relevant today as it explores the frustration of modern day relationships.
