16 Years of Alcohol is a moving and powerful look at one man's search for hope, redemption and meaning in his life.

Set it three distinct periods in the life of Frankie Mac, the sotry is a hard-edged character study of his troubled life and his search to find hope when he feels that none exists.

As a young boy Frankie watches the world around him drench itself in alcohol. His father, who was always a larger than life and heroic figure to Frankie, is seen for the first time to be a drunk, philandering liar.

in his teenage years, Frankie leads a gang. They thrive on music, clothes and violence. A chance meeting with a young woman, Helen, introduces Frankie to a whole range of possibilities he had never considered. He begins to depart from his identity as a member of the gang, which then turns against him, and in doing so creates a fanatical enemy in one of his former buddies.
