It's the 70's... we're supposed to be over the 60's... but sixteen year old ballet dancer Alex (newcomer Angela Gots) discovers growing up isn't necessarily easy. After dancing her entire childhood with dreams of the Julliard School for the Performing Arts, Alex hits a bump in the road. Her doctor father (Robert Hays - Flying High, The Santa Trap) has an affair... her mother Clarice (Ellen Greene - Naked Gun 33 1/3, Little Shop Of Horrors) pays him back with a string of exotic new lovers. Both parents are too busy finding their new identites to help Alex deal with the complex teen issues of sex, love, alcohol and drugs. When her boyfriend Patrick (Danny Masterson - That 70's Show) won't stop drinking heavily, Alex's craving for affection drives her to sleep with her mother's lover Armand (Ivo Cutzarida), and things really get messy.
