Mario (Chancy Leopardi from 'Casper') is looking forward to the last day of school and can't wait to spend the summer together with his father (Beau Bridges from 'The Fabulous Baker Boys' and 'Jerry Maguire'). But things don't go to plan and he ends up on his own. Befriending a group of young city kids and a priest, he is encouraged to make better use of his time. Instead of getting into typical boy trouble Mario and his friends form the 'Boys Klub' and use their athletic talents to get involved in basketball. Together they must fight against 'the system' when they enter the city basketball tournament. Having the summer of a lifetime, Mario not only improves his basketball skills, but learns the true meaning of friendship, teamwork and how to make the best of life.
