This last truly great religious epic is the story of Islam.

It is the 7th Century and the city of Merra is alive with intrigue. The powerful leaders including Bu-Sofyan, his wife Hind and the wealthy aristocrat Umaya, are in bitter conflict with one man, Mohammed whose teachings are undermining their despotic power. Most dangerous of all to Bu-Sofyan and his kind is Mohammed's revelation that he has seen a vision of the angel Gabriel, and his call to the people of Mecca to worship not 300 idols but one God...

Mohammed's followers are persucted and tortured. Strong as they are in spirit and courage, the Muslims are forced to leave Mecca, fleeing to Medina for sanctuary. Homeless, they encourage Mohammad to lead them in battle for their beliefs but he is reluctant until called upon by God.

Despite overwhelming odds, when the two armies meet at the Wells of Bedr the force of the Muslin's passsionate faith triumphs. God's chosen people return to the Holy City of Mecca and one of the world's greatest religions is born.
