1973, 1063 minutes, Rated MA
Kojak launched its first episode in the U.S. and it was one of the most popular TV series of the 1970s.
Lt. Theo Kojak is an outspoken and streetwise cop with good humour and inimitable style. To ensure justice is done in the 13th precinct of Manhattan which forms his patch, he is not above stretching the literal interpretation of the law if it will help him crack a case and put a criminal in jail. Working closely with him is plain clothes' detective Bobby Crocker - as close to a regular partner as Kojak will ever get.
Typified by a fondness of sharp cut coats, open-necked, shirts and lollipops, Lt. Kojak struts his funky stuff in this, the first season of season of Kojak.
