In Puerto Vallarta, life intersects on the Malecon, the Mexican resort city's colourful seaside boardwalk alive with tourists, vendors and mariachis. But on one balmy afternoon, many lives change forever. A hail of gunshots leaves two men dead and their assassin on the run, with two unsuspecting locals becoming his shield during his desperate escape through the wilds of Mexico towards the United States border.
