Kids and dogs go hand in hand, and in the tradition of Old Yeller, Big Red, The Shaggy Dog and Savage Sam, Disney filmmakers capture the adventure, drama and humor of two boys and their canine companion in THE BISCUIT EATER. Lonnie McNeil (Johnny Whitaker) has grown fond of a misfit, outcast dog rejected by the boy's father Harve (Earl Holliman), a dog trainer. Lonnie enlists his pal Text Tomlin (George Spell) in an intensive training course for the stray, dubbed "Moreover" by the boys. Their goal: to enter Moreover in the local championship trials - and win!
