It is May 1940, and German troops are preparing to invade Amsterdam. Meanwhile in London, an English Major and two Dutch diamond experts are about to undertake an extremely dangerous mission. They will attempt to remove millions of pounds-worth of industrial diamonds from Amsterdam to prevent them falling into the hands of the Third Reich. Contact is made with many of the diamon merchants, but their stocks are all in a high security vault and because it is a Bank Holiday, there is no way of accessing them. The vaults must be forced, and they only have 14 hours to complete the operation.
