With their mother dead and their father seemingly too busy to care, the Bostock children are forced to amuse themselves on the remote family farm. When they see the farm hand Eddy trying to drwon some kittens in the river they rescue them and take them to a barn. Later they go back to check on the kittens and discover a haggard murderer on the run who they believe must be Christ!
