Fame. The great aphrodisiac of the 20th Century and everyone wants a piece of the action. No-one more than Lee Simon (Kenneth Branagh). In his own words, his obsession with celebrities is a "penis-led move into madness". He'll do anything, be-friend everyone, bed anyone, in a desperate bid to aattain the cut status of a star. His long list of conquests, near conquests and firm rejections include Melanie Griffith, Winona Ryder, Charlize Theron, Famke Janssen; and the biggest celebrity of all Leonardo Di Caprio. Along the way, he'll dump his decidedly infamous wife RObin (Judy Davis); but in a series of deepy hysterical and profoundly ironic events Robin becomes an A-list celebrity herself.
