2001, 116 minutes, Rated MA

Andy Warhol once said, in the future everyone will be famous for 15 minutes. Welcome to that future - where reality shows mean fame, violence means ratings and tabloid television lives and dies by the rule 'If is bleeds, it leads'.

De Niro is Eddie Fleming, New York's ultimate celebrity detective - he's on TV most nights in his quest to bring down serial killers and raise his own media profile. But this time, he has just met his match. Someone is on a killing spree, and they're videotaping the horrific murders to provoke the police. They want to be famous too. And if they get caught they can plead insanity and sell their story to television. Their psychotic desire for infamy is about to hit Fleming in the most personal way imaginable - he's going to star in their next production.

Part satire, part action film, 15 Minutes is an explosive thriller that combines the savagery and dark humour of 'Natural Born Killers' and 'Series 7'... Some people would kill to be famous.
