Honey Sweet Love

It is the summer of 1943 and the British Army has been despatched to a small village in Southern Sicily as part of the Allied Forces operations. Upon their arrival, Colonel Harold Pearson (Ben Cross - Chariots Of Fire) takes charge of the community, laying down the laws and severely restricting the Italian way of life. His rule becomes intolerable... until he is introduced to the mayor's beautiful wife, Maria (Jo Champa - Little Buddha) and becomes totally enamoured with her. Suddenly Colonel Pearson becomes agreeable and relaxes the laws and, when his feelings turn to love, it enables the village to sneak and scam their way around the British with war-like genius!
