Dr. Sarah Taylor is a criminal psychologist with a brilliant, incisive mind. Her intuitive skills are needed to dissect the fabrications of accused serial killer, Max Cheski, who is trying to avoid a murder trial with an insanity plea. It is a demanding case and comes at a time when Sarah's own life is in turmoil. Someone is harrassing her, leaving frightening messages on her answering machine. Dead flowers have been left on her doorstep. Her cat has been found dead. And as the torment intensifies, Sarah discovers her own abilities are no match for those of her stalker.
