A shameless romantic comic fantasy, based on the true story of celebrated Irish tenor Joseph Locke and his brief but glorious comeback to the English stage. Concert promoter Micky O'Neill (Adrian Dunbar) is a charming but somewhat inept manipulator who is intent on reviving Heartly's, a deteriorating theatre club. When Micky isn't destroying his love live, he's feeding off creditors at his beloved club. Determined to make Heartly's a financial success, Micky finally thinks he's scored when a singer who bills himself as 'Mr X' books a spot at the club. Micky believes 'Mr X' is really Joseph Locke, the UK's own Frank Sinatra, and Micky knows that if he can stage Locke's official "comeback", he will have a major coup on his hands...
