Eleven-year-old Izzy Zaidman is a confused kid growing up in a rough inner city neighbourhood. His father has had a stroke and his mother Sue has her hands full.
Suffocated by his surroundings, Izzy begins breaking into apartments, finding comfort in these foreign worlds. Without malicious intent, Izzy finds satisfaction in rearranging the furniture, raiding the refrigerator or even just watching TV, unaware of the potential consequences of his actions.
In a race for an angry boy to grow up, for a family to rediscover itself before its too late and for love to triumph over heartbreak and anger, this is a story of a family determined to survive.
