In the small town of Sleepy Hollow the high school football team get their kicks from scaring everyone with tales of the Headless Horseman who returns from the grave every Halloween to seek revenge on any who stand in his way.

This Halloween when two students suddenly disappear, people begin to get frightened, but when the Headless Horseman makes a dramatic appearance and begins to chase and kill collecting heads as he goes, all hell breaks loose.

Can the great - great - grandson of the legendary Ichabold Crane save his town and his own father by sending the Horseman back to the grave where he belongs?
