The Darkling

Struggling auto mechanic Jeff Obold (Aidan Gillen) lives in a small but well-kept trailer with his beautiful wife Marla (Nina Siemaszko) and his seven year old daughter, Casey. Jeff and Marla receive a very surprising and somewhat mysterious invitation to a party at an estate and they decide to attend. There Jeff gets his first look at a creature called "The Darkling". The Darkling tells Jeff that he can help him attain everything that he has long dreamed of - wealth, happiness and fame. In return the Darkling seeks only "a companion". Jeff is warned to think seriously before venturing into this "deal with the devil" but Jeff has nothing to lose and everything to gain - or so he thinks.
