2001, 85 minutes, Rated M
Two years after the tragic events at Lake Summit, Stanley Caldwell's (Judd Nelson - "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back") sordid script is in development to become the next blockbuster big screen thrill ride. A mere 50 miles away from the site of the original murders, Lake Shaw is determined to be the perfect setting for director Mike Helton (Brian Krause, "Dreamers" "The Return to the Blue Lagoon") to shoot Caldwell's script. Screenwriter Allison Gaddis (Dahlia Salem), an aficionado of Caldwell's works, is hard at work refurbishing Caldwell's creation for the big screen.
Everyone's attention soon shifts to real-life dramas, as strange and deadly mishaps begin to occur on the set. First, a cast member is almost electrocuted, and then the director mysteriously disappears, leaving Caldwell at the helm. Slowly but surely, Caldwell is gaining full creative control of his project, destroying anything or anyone in the way of his "vision." Unbeknownst to the rest of the cast and crew, Caldwell is trying to relive his infamous murder spree, and in the process is creating a movie that is more real-life than fiction.
