Dan Scott (Academy Award Winner Keith Carradine - Nashville, Southern Comfort, The Duellists) is a fading Broadway star who garners a new audience for his cabaret act in Europe. When World War II erupts, he finds himself trapped between the Nazis and the Soviets. Amid a world in chaos, he falls in love with a beautiful, young local girl named Deborah (Mia Kirshner - Anna Karenina, The Grass Harp, Not Another Teen Movie). Their affair is cut short with tragic consequences, but Dan never loses hope that someday they will be reunited.
