Tommy Basilio is a 31 year-old barfly and for this drifter lessons are not easily learned. He's lost his job, his pregnant girlfriend's run off with her best friend and all he has is a few bucks for a few shots down at the seedy Trees Lounge - the bar you go to when there's no place to go, except further and further from reality.
despite ites empty existence, Trees Lounge is the epicentre of so many people's lives - the landlords of so many lost souls and the holder of Tommy's disturbing existence.
Steve Buscemi (Fargo, Reservoir Dogs) makes his stunning directorial debut in thie 'uniquely funny urban tale' about the notion of time, and what people do with it when they have too much of it.
