Titanic
Would a sinking ship exert a deadly pull on people in the water? Survivors of the Titanic said they were rowed away from the doomed vessel because of the vortex caused by the ship's sinking action.

Explosive Trombone
There is a story of an adventurous trombone player who thought he would liven up a performance of the 1812 overture. Apparently he placed an explosive inside his trombone. The plan was to aim high at the ultimate moment and fire above the conductor's head. The result was disastrous.

Goldfish Memory
Do goldfish have a memory longer than 3 seconds? It is theorised that fish in a bowl complete lap after lap with no recollection of the previous circuit. The Mythbuster's set out to challenge the theory and themselves by attempting to train goldfish to remember.

Breakstep Bridge
Jamie and Adam go on the offensive against an old piece of Army lore, which dictates soldiers march out of step when they corss a bridge. It's thought the regular, rhythmic foot falls of a troop marching in time is enough to set a bridge vibrating, and it's feared that vibration might cause the bridge to collapse.

Row Skiing
Jamie and Adam can't resist testing an old rowing boast, that a rowing crew is strong and fast enough to pull a water skier.

Can material in your toilet bowl aerate when flushed, and waft onto your toothbrush? It's a secret, unspoeken fear in many a household, but the answer will soon be at hand. The results may well ahve you rethinking your washroom arrangements.
