Apartment 12 is a romantic comedy about Alex (Mark Ruffalo), a self-absorbed young artist who is having a bad day.

When he doesn't get the art show he's been expecting, his girlfriend kicks him out and Alex finds himself living in a low rent Hollywood apartment surrounded by an assortment of neighbours he'd rather avoid.

Rejected and dejected, his life takes a turn when Lori (Beth Ulrich), a country bumpkin from Colorado, moves in next door.

It soon becomes clear to Alex that as convenient as it is to date someone from across the hall, it's a little inconvenient to have her still living there when you try to breakup.
