When mild-mannered cowpoke Melody Jones - who barely knows the difference between a six-shooter and a carbine rifle - rides into Paynesville, he is immediately mistaken for the notorious outlaw Monte Jarrad. He at first enjoys his new found fame and notoriety, however that quickly ends when he finds himself the target of a bloodthirsty posse, a determined private eye, Jarrad's double-crossed partners and most dangerously of all: Jarrod himself!
