David has been left standing at the alter after the bride-to-be changes her mind at the last moment. Rather than face friends and hysterical parents, he decides to escape on his honeymoon alone.

Drowning his sorrows at the airport bar, he misses his flight and now faces another dilemma - he's too drunk to drive anywhere! In the carpark he meets Claire, she's just been fired from her job and fallen out with her married boyfriend. She needs money and, after taking David's wedding rink as a deposit she agrees to drive him to his honeymoon cottage in rural Ireland.

On arrival, David and Claire's worlds collide... he wants peace and tranquility to decide his future while she wants to enjoy the unexpected holiday. With both of their ex's on their trail they begin a hilarious and chaotic adventure that will change both their lives.
