Louis Pinnock (John Travolta - Pulp Fiction) is a white man living in a world dominated by racial inequality a world where the blacks are wealthy and in control, the whites poor and disadvantaged. Discrimination is a part of every day life for factory worker, Louis and today is no different. His path has crossed with rich and privileged businessman, Thaddeus Thomas (Harry Belafonte) and in one unguarded moment, Louis oversteps the invisible line of race and class....a mistake which costs him everything - his family, home and livelihood. What happens next, out of desperation, will change the lives of everyone Louis encounters - including Thaddeus Thomas.
