From the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of "The Hours" A Home At The End Of The World chronicles the lives of Bobby (Colin Farrell) and Jonathan (Dallas Roberts), two childhood friends. From the moment they meet, Bobby and Jonathan are inseparable. For Jonathan, the unconventional Bobby is a connection to a larger world. For Bobby, Jonathan's family - and in particular Jonathan's mother Alice (Sissy Spacek) - represents a kind of stability that he hasn't known. As they grow up, the boys grow apart but reunite in New York where Jonathan shares an apartment with Clare (Robin Wright Penn). The three abandon convention and create for themselves a new kind of family where Clare and Jonathan decide to have a baby, Clare becomes Bobby's lover and Jonathan, who is openly gay, loves Bobby as he has always done.
