Rebel has done enough. He wants out. The war has taken its toll - it's wounded him, confused him and now it's sickened him. Rebel is about to desert.

This Yank is on leave in Sydney, Australia and a guy called Tiger Kelly can arrange passage on a cargo ship back to the States. All it takes is money.

But that's not a problem because Rebel wants to get home whatever the price.

But with that, his fate is sealed. Rebel is now a runaway, a fugitive. If he gets caught he gets shot.

What Rebel needs is a place to hide-out. Kathy has that place. What both of them don't need is to fall in love, however under the circumstance that is going to prove unavoidable.

Hollywood's Matt Dillon ("There's Something About Mary") joins Australian musical stage sensation Debbie Byrne ("Sunset Boulevard", "Les Miserables") and movie legend Bryan Brown ("Dead Heart", "Along Came Polly") in the hit movie adaptation of Bob Herbert's play "No Names, No Packdrill".
