His whole life, Antonio (John Leguizamo from Moulin Rouge) has dreamed of one thing - to become a famous musician. Leaving his dusty Mexican border town behind, he hops a bus to Los Angeles, where his life is transformed when he falls for Nina (Ana Claudia Talacon), a beautiful aspiring doctor.
As his attraction to Nina grows, so does his admiration for his neighbour Mirabella (Elizabeth Pena from Rush Hour), a divorced mother of two and gifted former singer. At Antonio's passionate urging, Mirabella joins his band as they prepare for a talent contest that could change all their lives forever, in this magical look at the limitless power of love, hope and dreams.
