In Earthsea harmony between humans and dragons has been insured for centuries by the Amulet of Peace protected by the High Priestess Thar (Isabella Rossellini) at the Tombs of Atuan. but a grave attack by the Kargides, who invaded Earthsea's temple, broke the amulet and stole one of its pieces, has placed the future of the utopia in jeopardy. Now Earthsea has only one chance for restoring the amulet and protecting its many islands from the occupation of evil forces. The last hope is a boy named Ged (Shawn Ashmore, X-Men), a simple blacksmith's son and neophyte wizard.

Combine the grand scope of The Lord of the Ring, the magic of Harry Potter, and the breathtaking imagination of C.S. Lewis and you have Earthsea, a fantastic action-adventure saga like no other.
