Young church choir singer David and his childhood friend both aspire to some day be ministers like David's father. But when tragedy strikes, David flees his home and town, turning his back on God and his father's church. Fifteen years later, David, now a top-selling R&B star, returns home to find the once-powerful congregation in disarray. With his childhood friend, now a minister himself and creating a "new vision" for the church, David is forced to deal with family, career and relationship issues that will send him on a collision course with redemption or destruction!
