Meet Hugo Dugay, a lonely but spirited pool cleaner with 44 pools to clean before dark, but she's gonna need some help....

The mother, Minerva - a chronic gambler heavily in debt. The father, Henry - a loving, optimistic chap, headed straight for "rehab". Franz - a difficult client and film director out on bail after killing a movie extra for over acting! Chic - a bullying mobster-type who wants his pool filled up "now"! The hitchhiker - a drifter in blue suede shoes and a guardian angel. Floyd - a very special client trapped speechless in a wheelchair and with a soft, romantic nature. With a completely scatty ensemble like this, Hugo's certainly got her work cut out for her in this comedy about love, luck and laughter.
