When you can't hear, things look very different
Frankie Wilde (Paul Kaye) is one of Europe's most talented and envied DJs, and a main attraction for hedonistic youth each holiday season in Ibiza, Spain. Everything about his life is over the top: the clubs, the parties, the women, and the drugs. But the years of pounding music and heavy toxins have taken their toll, leaving Frankie stone deaf. His fans, record deal, manager and family all soon disappear. The good times gone, Frankie isolates himself in his villa for a year under a pile of self-pity and a mountain of drugs.
Determined to pull himself together Frankie hires a lip-reading instructor and accepts a new way of life in an effort to rediscover the dance rhythms that defined him.
