Like most girls, she's thinking commitment. Like most guys, he's thinking nothing.

When Max meets Elizabeth the attraction is immediate and several months on in thier loving relationship Elizabeth is thinking commitment. Max is not. So when he gives Elizabeth a gift of a small box, she assumes marriage but he is still thinking nothing. The gift turns out to be Max's toothpick invention and Elizabeth is devastated. Suddenly their relationship is in turmoil and Max fears that Elizabeth will run off with another man. Enter Max's co-worker Lena. She has a mad crush on Max and spies the perfect opportunity to win him over. A master manipulator, Lena plays on Max's fear and in a deliciously wicked plot sets him up to believe the unbelievable about his one true love. Now it seems that the chance of Max and Elizabeth getting back together is wishful thinking in this delightful and engaging romantic comedy.
