New, rising star Shawn Hatosy (The Faculty) plays down on his luck Timothy Dunphy (Dunph to his drug buddies), a blue collar boy about to have some blue-blooded adventure. After rear-ending a police venicle while innocently attached to a bong, Dunph is packed off to Cornwall Academy (or as he affectionately calls it, Academy)...where he's out of place, outclassed and outnumbered.
The Farrelly Brothers, the duo behind the outrageous "Dumb and Dumber" and "There's Something About Mary" now reveal a more intimate, personal side with this deeply poignant yet still hilariouis coming-of-age-in-the-70's story. Also starring Cheers' George Wendt and featuring a stunning surprise comic performace from Alec Baldwin.
