After over 100 years under British rule, India is awakening to the revolutionary prospect of change and self rule. A friendship between a British officer William Gordon and Mangal, an Indian infantryman, forged in the battle field, transcends race and rank.

The friendship is soon challenged, first by the arrival of a charming and beautiful young aristocrat, and then by the introduction of controversial and harsh new laws for the Indian infantry troops. Mangal becomes the focus of the Indian mutiny against the harsh British rule.

One man rises against the empire.

One spark can light a fire... One act of defiance can ignite a rebellion... One man can change history... Discover the birth of India's independence.
