Ben Crane is the most talented horseman in the industry but his career ends the day prized horse, Sonya, breaks her leg. She is considered as good as dead by her owner, Ben's boss, so along with his walking papers, Ben is given Sonya as severance pay. A bleak future awaits both Ben and his maimed horse...that is until his daughter, Cale, asks the impossible of her father: to rescue and rehabilitate Sonya so she can race again.
