2004, 81 minutes, Rated PG

An inspiring family film that proves it's what's on the inside that counts!

Welcome to Granger, Texas, population 1299. This sleepy little town is home to precocious 12 year oly Toby Wilson (Jonathon Lipnicki from "Jerry Maguire") and your starting point for a most remarkable summer adventure.

The circus has come to town and with it arrives Zachary Beaver, alegend in his own lunchtime and the proclaimed "fattest boy inthe world". Seeing beyond the gimmicky side-show act that has grown around Zackary, Toby and his buddy Cal, befriend the circus,, but his greedy and overbearing guardian, "The Wizard", has other ideas about that. Through tragedy, triumph and causing a lot of trouble, they learn that you can't always judge a book by its cover and you certianly can't judge a friend by what's on the outside.

Based on the best selling novel by Kimberly Willis Holt and featuring a stellar cast including Eric Stolz and Jane Krakowski as Toby's parents, this is a poignant, bittersweet take of acceptance, loss, faith and courage....and it shows just how far two boys will go to help a friend.
