Rachael (Laura Fraser - Cassanova), a young woman has searched for her missing mother for years. She is calle back home by her ex boyfriends Rafe with the promise of news of her mother and returns to Devils Gate, a small bleak island in the North Sea she once called home. Nothing is what it seems and as her search continues, she is drawn further into a trap. As Rachael uncovers the truth, she is forced to confront the demons and abuse of her own past. This leads to a series of dangerous circumstances where no one will ever be the same and nothing is at is seems in Devils Gate.
