As his family tries to get rich the old-fashioned way - grovelling - the incurably manipulative Uncle Joe (Douglas) laughs all the way to the bank while watching them elevate back-stabbing and brown-nosing to high art forms.

However, when a gorgeous pizza delivery girl becomes Joe's live-in "nurse," her bedside manner threatens the conniving clan. They call upon long lost cousin Danny (Fox), once the apple of Joe's eye - and now the world's 63rd best bowler - to worm his way into the old man's heart. But if Danny's level-headed girlfriend (Travis) can't keep him out of the gutter, he'll soon be leading the pack of vultures!
