In 1991, orphaned Marine Sgt, Tommy Santoro (Jame Marsden from X-Men) thought he had escaped his family's ties to organised crime when he buried the memory of his father's murder. That is, until an insubordinate act on the Iraqi border and an obsessed FBI agent take him back to South Philly to face the biggest conflict of his life.

His brother Vincent (Brad Renfro from Sleepers) and cousin Joey (Giovanni Ribisi from Cold Mountain) have become what Tommy vowed never to be, and now, faced with the only chance to save his family Tommy is coming home to become something even worse.
