There's no business like the 60s showband business!
When the Golden Ballroom burned down on opening night, Toby Golden (Liam Cunningham) was left in serious debt. Now his lead singer has quit, the bank is calling in the loan and his long suffering landlady, Gemma (Tina Kellegher), is threatening to throw him out.
Tony has completely run out of options when he stumbles upon Denise (Kerry Katona). A shy pub cleaner and wannabe singer, her mop doubles as a microphone but her voice might be just the thing to save Tony and his ballroom. He firmly believes Denise could be the next big thing - all he has to do is persuade her to lose the dungarees and the attitude, and don the dress, beehive and heels of a 60s showband songstress.
