The Best Man follows the fortunes of Olly - a luckless author with writers' block who is stuck in a dead-end job. Things start to look up when Olly's old uni friend, James, asks him to be his best man at his upcoming wedding. However, things take a turn for the worse when Olly falls in love with the beautiful bride-to-be, Sarah.

Whilst trying to resist his urges and keep his crazy flatmate Murray away from sabotaging the wedding, Olly discovers that the prospective bridegroom may not be worthy of her love - and he might actually be The Best Man after all.
