Two young boys set out on a journey into adventure in this magical fantasy, directed by Mike Newell (Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire).
When old gypsy traveller Grandpa Ward relates the legend of Tir Na Nog to his grandsons Ossie and Tito, little does he know the chain of events he sets in motion.
Ossie and Tito live with their father, a gypsy who has rejected his tribe and nomadic roots to settle with his children amid the grim tower blocks of Dublin. but their lives are about to change when their grandfather returns from his travels with a magnificent white horse which has followed him home, a horse named Tir Na Nog which becomes curiously attached to the boys.
Devastated when a unscrupulous horse breeder takes their beloved horse from them, Ossie and Tito steal him back and make a break for freedom into the Irish countryside, with a 5,000 Pound reward on their heads and the police force hot on their heels.
Their father, pap Riley (Gabriel Byrne) must set off after Ossie and Tito on the journey into the west.
An adventure the whole family can enjoy.
