1919. At the start of the Paris Peace Conference, T.E. Lawrence prepares for his greatest battle yet; to deliver to his wartime Hashemite allies the promised land - Syria. Played out in a labyrinth of council chambers and lobbies of faded Imperialism, Lawrence's campaign confronts him with opponents more deceitful and lethal than any he encounters in the desert. Together with his comrade-in-arms, prince Feisal, Lawrence charms the salons of London and Paris with his social niceties whilst using his growing political skills to plead passionately the Arab cause. Until it is time to cut him down...
