Baywatch premiered in April 1989 and enjoyed a successful run throughout the `90s before coming to an end in 2001. The show took the role of the lifeguard and completely transformed it, adding adventure, excitement and sex appeal to an occupation that seemed an unlikely basis for a TV show. David Hasselhoff filled the lead role of Lt. Mitch Buchannon while a bevy of curvaceous beauties stood by his side, including Pamela Anderson, who played CJ Parker for five seasons. Other notable names such as Alexandra Paul, David Charvet, Nicole Eggert, Kelly Slater Nicole (world surfing champion), Erika Eleniak, Billy Warlock, Jeremy Jackson and Brooke Langton, donned the infamous red swimsuits in the third season of Baywatch.
